Blue Hair Red Eyes on Wood Panel

Blue Hair Red Eyes on Wood Panel

"Blue Hair, Red Eyes" is based on a completely creepy antique doll I photographed during my flea market adventures. She has a certain abandoned by her child owner sadness to her...yet she is ruthlessly creepy. (in a good way of course!)

This 4.5" wood square original one of a kind rendition was first painted with latex, the"Blue Hair, Red Eyes" is drawn with various types of pencil including chalk, conte crayon & watercolor pencil. The wood square is outlined in black acrylic paint and is mounted on an old art deco designed 5x5" frame which has been painted black.

Though she may be a bit creepy, she is really cool.

She was recently one of the featured art works in a one woman Art Show - the third photograph shows her on display with one of the other wood block pieces from LuckyGirl Eleven. This listing is only for "Blue Hair, Red Eyes."
